Purim am Fraenkelufer

Anfang März ist Purim. Am Fraenkelufer feiern wir das Fest wie immer mit einem fröhlichen Programm für Groß und Klein. Wir freuen uns schon auf eure kreativen Kostümideen und ein schönes gemeinsames Fest.

Purim-Kinderfest & Megillah-Lesung | 2. März ab 16:30 Uhr

Am Nachmittag vor der Megillah-Lesung laden wir alle Familien zu einem bunten Purim-Programm ein. Gemeinsam hören wir die Geschichte von Esther, singen, basteln und stimmen uns auf das Fest ein. Natürlich warten auch Hamantaschen und Getränke auf euch.

Ab 16:30 Uhr könnt ihr ankommen, eure Kostüme vorbereiten oder euch schminken lassen. Um 17 Uhr beginnt das Programm mit Sarah, Mári und Paige. Um 18 Uhr startet der egalitäre Gottesdienst mit der gemeinsamen Lesung der Megillat Esther. Dieses Jahr wird es außerdem wieder einen Kostüm-Contest geben! Im Anschluss laden wir zu einem kleinen Empfang mit Hamantaschen und Getränken ein. Wir freuen uns über helfende Hände vor und nach dem Fest und sind dankbar für eine Spende zur Unterstützung des Programms.

Purim-Morgen | 3. März, ab 9:30 Uhr

Am Morgen des 3. März treffen wir uns um 9:30 Uhr zum egalitären Gebet und zur Megillah-Lesung. Anschließend gibt es einen Kiddush – und natürlich dürfen auch Hamantaschen nicht fehlen.

Purim at Fraenkelufer

Purim is at the beginning of March. At Fraenkelufer, we will celebrate the holiday as usual with a fun program for young and old. We look forward to your creative costume ideas and a wonderful celebration together.

Purim Children's Party & Megillah Reading | March 2nd, starting at 4:30pm

On the afternoon before the Megillah reading, we invite all families to a colorful Purim program. Together we will hear the story of Esther, sing, do crafts, and get in the mood for the holiday. Of course, hamantaschen and drinks will also be waiting for you.

You can arrive at 4:30pm to prepare your costumes or have your faces painted. The program begins at 5pm with Sarah, Mári, and Paige. The egalitarian service begins at 6pm with a communal reading of Megillat Esther. This year, there will also be a costume contest again! Afterwards, you are invited to a small reception with hamantaschen and drinks. We welcome helping hands before and after the party, and are grateful for donations to support the program.
